Communities: Know the Risk

NFIP Information for the State of Arkansas

Know your Risk

Risk Mapping Assessment and Planning (Risk MAP) seeks to collaborate and coordinate with our Region 6 states to identify risks and increase public awareness. We invite you to find local flood risk information on your state’s page in order to make educated decisions concerning your home and family.

This map provides a quick view of the counties where active mapping studies are occurring. It also identifies where we are currently identifying risk in a watershed within Arkansas. The status of maps, locally specific resources and other risk information is available on the county page – just select your county on the left.

If Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) are currently available for your county, a link will be provided on the county page. There will be more than one tab from the county page if the county is also included in Risk MAP Watershed. If your county is not highlighted on the map below, current effective FIRMs may be viewed from the Map Service Center.
